Test SNMP traps form OMSA\ESXi 5.1

So, I'm running a dell R720xd server with VMware ESXi 5.1.  It has a iDRAC card at different address.

Lets say the main interface is 10.10.0.20

lets say the idrac interface is 10.10.0.30

So I'm monitoring this device for snmp traps from Openmanage and VMWare. 

Question, which interface do I monitor for traps?

I would think I want to monitor the main interface, so I can see the traps from esxi also.

But if I monitor the iDRAC interface for traps, I wont see the esxi traps.

But, with that said, I also need to test the traps coming out of the main interface.

How does one go about generating a test snmp trap from the main interface and not on the iDRAC for dell specific traps?
