Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 my Latitude E6400 has experienced application errors every few minutes, this last hour there have been 104 instances of this Event 1000 recorded in the Windows application log, as follows:

Faulting application name: wmiprvse.exe, version: 10.0.10240.16384, time stamp: 0x559f3b89

Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.10240.16430, time stamp: 0x55c59f92

Exception code: 0xc0000374

Fault offset: 0x00000000000ea28c

Faulting process id: 0xf24

Faulting application start time: 0x01d0ddba6e6d2159

Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe

Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

I have stopped all non-Windows services but simply cannot trace the Windows service causing this fault.

The svchost, exe process that it occurs in is running the following executables:

RuntimeBroker.exe

SearchUI.exe

WmiPrvSE.exe

HelpPane.exe

ApplicationFrameHostexe

MicrosoftEdge.exe

browser_broker.exe

SystemSettings.exe

WmiPrvSE.exe

ShellExperienceHost.exe

and when another WmiPrvSEexe is spawned the application fault occurs.

I can't find anything on the Web to hep me.
